If you’re like me, you probably had NO idea that J-Law even had a boyfriend, but that’s how private the two are. Now her boyfriend, ‘X-Men’ star Nicholas Hoult is talking about what it’s like to date the Oscar winning star!
The two first met while filming ‘X-Men: First Class’ in 2011, but broke up in January 2013. But by July of that same year, the ‘American Hustle’ star and Hoult were back on — and today, they couldn’t be happier.
He told V Man magazine what it was like dating Jennifer in the midst of her ‘Hunger Games’ fame, “The privacy obviously changes but the rest pretty much stays the same,”
He talked about how she’s managed to remain humble with all the success she’s had at just being 23 years old,
“It’s like that thing whereby you don’t believe your own hype. Enjoy the good times, but don’t get swept away with it,”
He continued, “I think that’s something she’s capable of doing, and that’s what makes her special……But yeah, it is very odd, and I am just kind of a bystander in many ways. It is well-deserved for her. I haven’t really seen any change in her.”
Hoult also opened up about working with his girlfriend on ‘X-Men: Days of Future Past,’ the latest installment in the franchise.
“It’s fun because in this business you are away from one another for long periods of time, so when you’re on set together it’s a brilliant thing, because you actually get to spend time together,” he recalled. “Especially with this film, I got to spend time with her.”
